New address

I am writing this in New York City, which means summer has finally begun. :) I decided to change to change the platform for my blog, from now on:

So happy to see you there. <3 The layout is still what it is, I'm working on it, but wanted to finally give an update from here NYC. :)

Champagne shower

The title of this post need not to be taken too seriously haha. Anyway, I hope these pictures can pass some of the happy vibes of our May Day. One of the best 48 hours in my life, for sure. Endless sparkling drinks, soap bubbles, balloons, macaroons, picnics, house parties, dancing at night club and of course being surrounded by the best people made this celebration perfect. The memories will make me smile a long time from now, and thank god as I will not be around this time next year :) Happy times, thanks for everyone being part of it!

P.S dear ms hawaii, montreal, sydney, aberdeen, hong kong, madrid, milano and the list goes on, you were not forgotten but very deeply missed!!

My calendar for May is already full of fun get-togethers with family and friends, fun times continue :). One exam to pass and some work, but have to say, not too hard times ahead.

Hope everyone's May will be full of joy and happy moments <3

Week highlights

Trying Wall Pilates with Assi... So much fun and makes you hooked!

Yoga class in my new favorite studio, Hima Happiness. Such an inspiring place and Satu Tuomela's Dynamics yoga class was the best class I've ever been to. She is not being praised for nothing ;)

Wondering on my favorite streets...

Little things that make you happy: discount on your everyday product and to crown it, takeaway coffee for free :) Got to love my corner shop and the truly friendly staff.

Enjoying the sun at our terrace <3

The Perfect Brunch

Brunch is one of my favorite weekend activities - friends and food, what could be better.  Even better if the food served is healthy yet delicious. I've always been interested in raw food but also too lazy to prepare it by myself.

Johan & Nyström's brunch was a perfect opportunity to taste heavenly tasty raw dishes, not to mention enjoying all this in most idyllic surroundings. The cafe is located in a old brick building at Katajannokka, overlooking the sea and impressive huge sailing boats. I loved everything - each detail from delicious food to the surroundings, which were all perfectly though out. The food alone would have been amazing experience but the idyllic environment made the experience perfect. As a New York lover, the old brick walls and high, light space took my heart. Will definitely come back!

The brunch included heavenly good dishes for raw food lovers such as dried raspberries, self-made muesli and coconut yogurt, almond milk, blackcurrant sauce, "tuna" salad (made of vegetables and herbs), fresh salad, seed crackers, patees, "cole slaw", the famous zucchini pasta, avocado sauce, hummus, raw blueberry pie and chocolate brownies.... Perfection. I dare to claim that even not-so-healthygeeks will love this brunch (maybe even get excited of raw food;)
